Welcome to Transformations ArtSpace

Transformations encourages visual and artistic endeavour within regional areas, and provides an opportunity for artists working at a professionally skilled level to have their work seen publicly on the world wide web. We also encourage the showing of visual aspects of research through the publication of archival material such as photographs, drawings, maps, illustrations, engravings, and any other visual material providing insight into, and knowledge of regional areas, events, institutions and people.

Anyone seeking to curate a showing either of their own or others' work should contact the Transformations editor Warwick Mules.

The ArtSpace galleries are spaces provided for the exhibition of art and visual works from regional areas, or with a regional focus. We provide this space to encourage artists, photographers, archivalists, researchers and writers to make their works available in virtual form, and to ensure that regional art and associated activities is accessible to the general community.

Transformations ArtSpace galleries provide spaces for the showing of various kinds of images with a regional perspective. Images appearing here may be as diverse as photographs, paintings, drawings, installations and other art works, as well as images of historical and social documentation.

The Transformations ArtSpace consists of independently curated exhibitions, as well as presentations of visual material and works by individual artists and researchers.
