Online Journal, ArtSpace, Conferences

The Transformations project consists of a fully refereed electronic journal and an online exhibition space. Transformations also organises conferences in areas of its interests.

The Transformations Journal is dedicated to the exploration of ideas, issues and debates emerging out of contemporary global culture. Transformations seeks to publish new writing that addresses the transformative processes of new technologies and mediating practices that change the way we think, feel and interact with others both in a contemporary and historical sense.

The Transformations ArtSpace encourages visual and artistic endeavour within regional areas, and provides an opportunity for artists working at a professionally skilled level to have their work seen publicly on the world wide web. We also encourage the showing of visual aspects of research through the publication of archival material such as photographs, drawings, maps, illustrations, engravings, and any other visual material providing insight into, and knowledge of regional areas, events, institutions and people.

Transformations holds biennial conferences/seminars at the CQU Bundaberg campus. These conferences are held in partnership with the Bundaberg Media Research Group (bmrg.cqu.edu.au).
